Getting your food label right

Course Overview

The information on your food label is one of the main reasons why a consumer may select your product above those of your competitors. You need to make sure that your label stands out but there are rules on what you can or cannot include on a label. Mistakes may lose you customers and can be expensive to rectify.

This seminar will help delegates to understand the rules for the labelling of food and will highlight the most common mistakes.

The seminar is run in small groups and delegates may bring their labels with them to receive feedback if they wish.

This course will be suitable for anyone working in a food business with responsibility for food labelling, marketing and/or advertising.

Who is the Tutor?

Dr Andy Bowles - Andy is a specialist food law solicitor who has years of experience gained as a Quality Assurance Manager in the dairy industry and as Acting Head of Environmental Health at a London Borough. He has lectured extensively on food law matters on behalf of the Food Standards Agency.

Where is the training taking place?

The seminar will be held in the ABC Food Law Executive box at Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich.

There is free on-site parking and the venue is a short walk from Norwich station (London Liverpool St 1 hr 50 mins)

Thre is a Holiday Inn hotel on site (not included in the course cost) and both Premier Inn and travelodge hotels nearby.
