Job Description

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

You will be responsible for providing expert guidance, advice, coaching and mentoring to ensure high standards of safety performance across London and surrounding areas.

Visiting locations to offer support to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as following company policy and industry “Best Practice”.

Helping influence operational teams, location managers and senior chefs offering sound guidance to improve safety performance & compliance with company policy.

Reviewing accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following accidents or near misses.

Undertaking formal accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes and compiling investigation reports.

Supporting locations with timely completion of actions following local authority (EHO) visits.

Support the implementation of health and safety, food safety and allergen management processes into new opening locations.

You will assist in monitoring, and reviewing health and safety, food safety and allergen management processes and policies across the region.   Championing health and safety within our locations.

Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Level 4 Food Safety
  • BSc or MSc in Environmental Health
  •  Full driving licence essential
